Hiring me, and firing me

You’re hiring an analyst, so here’s the contract of employment. It fits on one page, because a deal you need a solicitor to read is usually a deal worth reading twice.

The job

You connect your sources. Once a week, on the morning you choose, I email you one brief explaining what moved, what broke, and what I'd do about it first. Between briefs I watch for collapses and spikes and email you if something can't wait until Monday.

That email is the product. There is no dashboard, and there won't be one — if I ever need a chart to make my point, I've failed to make it.

The money

$29 a month, every source included, no per-seat and no usage tiers. Fourteen days free first, no card taken up front.

Cancel whenever you like and briefs stop at the end of the period you've paid for. I don't do exit interviews, retention offers or cancellation phone calls.

What I promise

Every number in your brief is computed from your own connected sources. The AI writes the sentences; it never invents the figures, and it isn't allowed to.

Where I claim one thing caused another, that's my read of the timing and the correlation. When the evidence is thin I'll say "likely related" rather than dress a guess up as a finding.

What I don't promise

I'm an analyst, not an oracle, an accountant or a lawyer. My briefs are judgment for you to weigh, not financial, tax or legal advice, and not a substitute for your own books. Act on them at your discretion.

I can only be as right as the sources you give me. If a connector breaks, a platform changes its numbers retroactively, or a tag was never firing, my read will be wrong in the same direction. I'll flag a source that has gone quiet rather than quietly writing around the hole.

I aim to land every brief on the morning you picked. I don't guarantee it — mail gets delayed and platforms have outages. A late brief is not a broken promise; a missing one, tell me.

Your account

One workspace per account, and you keep your own login safe. Don't connect sources you're not entitled to read, and don't resell the briefs as your own product without asking me first — sharing one with your co-founder or investor is entirely fine.

I can suspend an account that's being used to abuse the service or someone else's data. I'll tell you why.

If something goes wrong

If the service is broken for a stretch, tell me and I'll refund the time. Beyond that, my liability is capped at what you've paid me in the previous twelve months, which at nineteen dollars a month is an honest reflection of what you're buying.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

Changes

If I change the price or anything material, you'll hear it from me by email before it happens, not by noticing this page has moved. Keep using me afterwards and you've accepted it.
